5 Self-development activities while sitting at your bed amidst lockdown

It is indeed a sad reality that we got so accustomed to running and always been busy in life that it seems difficult for us to take a pause. The lockdown in this pandemic is like a half-full half-empty bottle situation. Where some people are making the best use of the time and think that they are grateful for being with the family, some people find it difficult to be at home all day and don’t understand what to do. it is also understandable that not everyone feels different about the situation and doesn’t have the same level of energy to invest. So here are some self-development activities that you can do while sitting at your bed:

Choose any book of your interest is it fictional or business. A book is an option to see the world without moving from your place. It is an ocean of knowledge. The least it will help you out by enhancing your vocabulary. If you are the beginner here are some books to start with:

 

Watch Documentaries. They always give you interesting and new knowledge about a particular topic or incident and also kill your time in a positive way. Some must watch Indian documentaries are: 

Write. Make a Journal. Anything you want. Poetry, Essay, about your day or your feelings. Give words to your emotions. It is a good vent out space and you will be able to explain yourself without any fear of judgment. Also, it will help you choose the right words in the future. 

Spare some time just for yourself. Talk to yourself. About your likes, dislikes, your issues, your dreams, things which keep disturbing you, and how will be able to deal with your issues. Remember no one knows you better than you yourself and only you will be able to lift yourself up so this is the right time for self-pep talk. Google is a plethora of knowledge. You just have to write these words and enter to find hundreds of options for such activities. 

It’s perfectly fine if you are not doing anything. This is a pandemic and not a self-development or productivity contest. We know it is a difficult time and all you are doing is just being at home, picking yourself up after falling every time, and being positive. That is enough. You are developing you are growing. The things that matter the most are your wellness and only you can decide how to keep it.
