The story revolves around a young woman’s struggle to survive a terrible married life that is covered by falsehoods, emotions, and a strong connection with her mother-in-law. Anju (Parvathy Thiruvothu) and Leelamma engage in a sort of emotional tug-of-war throughout the film, which ends with a win of sorts for both characters at the end.
