India records another highest spike, coronavirus cases now more than Italy

India witnessed one of the most affected by the coronavirus pandemic as it has reached fifth place in the list of countries reporting maximum coronavirus cases. As per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare COVID-19 India tracker as on 8 June, 2020 now has 256,611 confirmed cases,  out of the 125,381 are active cases where as 124,095 have been discharged and the death toll from coronavirus infection in India crossed 7,000.
Maharashtra saw over 3,000 cases in a day for the second time since the outbreak. Tamil Nadu, Jammu and Kashmir, and West Bengal also recorded their highest single-day jump in COVID-19 cases on Sunday. With 27,654 confirmed novel coronavirus cases, Delhi remains severally affected. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministery. The national capital has reported 761 COVID-19 death so far. As many as 10,664 patients have recovered.
Globally, there have been over 70 lakh confirmed cases of COVID-19. At least four lakh people have died so far. The United States, Brazil, Russia, and the United Kingdom are the most affected countries.
