Indian celebrities and sport stars join the campaign to counter Rihanna ‘s tweet
Rihanna tweeted in support of the farmer's protest on Tuesday. Some current and former cricketers, including Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma ,Anil Kumble, Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan, tweeted using the hashtags #IndiaTogether and #IndiaAgainstPropaganda as well.
On Tuesday, Rihanna – the international pop sensation, tweeted in support of the ongoing farmer’s protest. She was the first global icon to shed light on the plight of farmers mainly from Delhi and Haryana who have been protesting since November 2020.

Indian Cricketers join the government’s campaign to counter Rihanna’s tweet regarding the ongoing farmer’s protest.
Sachin Tendulkar, along with other cricketers tweeted in the favor of the government’s stance on Wednesday, employing hashtags #indiaTogether and # India against propaganda.
Earlier many Bollywood stars tweeted in support of the government including actors Akshay Kumar, Director Karan Johar, and singer Kailash Kher.
India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants.
