Recently TV actor, Khushal Tandon demanded India to ban Tik Tok. Tik Tok is an app made in China and he feels that China is responsible for the outbreak of covid-19 and the whole mess that the world is going through. He expressed his anger about this app through an Instagram post which got plenty of likes in just a few hours however he disabled the comments section a few hours after posting it.

His Instagram post said, "While the whole world is f****d coz of China, but still guess what are Indians and many others are giving them the revenue from s*** #tik tok, while China made Tik Tok for people who were useless and who had nothing to do, and look at us all haha, everyone is in Tik Tok, ban Tik Tok. Proud of never using this shit, Tik Tok. Ban Tik Tok.” He also said that "China made this app for people who were useless"

A few months back actress Kratika Sengar Dheer also quitted Tik Tok blaming it for spreading communal violence saying “Goodbye @tiktok and goodbye to all those who are promoting communal violence in my country. Sorry guys, no more Tik Tok videos from my end henceforth. #BanTikTok."

But Vivek Dahiya, another TV actor seems to have an opposite opinion on this topic. He explained why people should not quit Tik Tok through his post on Instagram saying "For those suggesting we should ban "Made in China". Remember, the mobile phone you use to express your thoughts about banning an app was also assembled in the same part of the world and so are 7 out of 10 products in every average household. China is branded the manufacturer of the world, whether we like it or not. I'm pretty sure the founder of this app was not responsible for conspiring the Coronavirus. Additionally, Hydroxycioroquine used for recovery is either made In India or China.

The bottom line is, we are all interdependent in this global marketplace. If one nation is a Buyer, then the other is a Seller and both need one another to move forward, towards a single goal of prosperity. Unless of course, we are fully self-sufficient in everything but no such example exists.”
