POCO M2 Pro which is the third phone of POCO series is launched in India on Tuesday. The phone is manufactured under the ‘Made in India’ campaign by POCO.
POCO M2 Pro looks very similar to REDMI Note 9 Pro in design and in specs also. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G Processor and runs on MIUI 11 on Android 10 version.
In hand feel of this phone is a little heavy and larger in hand. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button on the right side. The SIM tray supports two Nano-SIM cards and a dedicated slot for microSD card with an expandable memory of 512 GB of storage. At the bottom of the phone, there is a headphone jack, USB Type – C port and speaker while on the top, there is a secondary microphone.
This phone comes with a 6.67 – inch full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels with the protection of Gorilla Glass 5 on the front, back and rear camera module. POCO M2 Pro gets the standard 60 Hz display which is quite less than the POCO X2 which gives us a 120 Hz display panel.

POCO M2 Pro has 4 rear cameras comprising of 48 megapixels of primary camera, 8 megapixels of a wide-angle lens, 5 megapixels of the macro camera and 2 megapixels of the depth camera. On the front side, there are 16 megapixels of selfie camera cutout at the top centre of the phone. The most important part of the phone is that one can record the full HD video with a macro lens camera. This phone also supports 4K video recording.
The phone is packed with a powerful battery of 5000 mAh capacity with 33W fast charger in the box from which one can charge 0-50% in only 30 mins.
POCO M2 Pro comes in three variants which is 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage with selling price of Rs- 13,999, Rs- 14,999 and Rs- 16,999 respectively. There are three colour options for this phone which are Blue, Green and Black and it’ll be available in India exclusively on Flipkart sale on July 14th.
