Realme has launched its new budget smartphone – the Realme 6i in India with great features. The Realme 6i model is the rebranded variant of the Realme 6s which was launched in Europe in May. The design of the Realme 6i is much similar to the Realme 6. It is the third smartphone under the Realme 6 series after Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro. The phone competes with the recent POCO M2 and Redmi Note 9.
Display –
Realme 6i is equipped with a 6.5-inch full HD punch-hole display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution and 90Hz of refresh rate with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90 T octa-core processor run on Android 10 version.
Camera –
Realme 6i phone comes with a quad rear camera setup comprising of 48 megapixels primary sensor, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2 megapixels portrait lens and a 2 megapixels macro lens. On the front side, there are a 16 megapixels selfie camera which supports the portrait mode, panoramic view, time-lapse, AI beauty, Face-Recognition, HDR and Bokeh Effect control.
Connectivity –
Realme 6i provides the connectivity options that include the 4G Volte, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C Port, GPS, and 3.5 mm audio jack. For the security of the phone, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button on the right side.
Battery –
The phone is packed with a battery of 4,300 mAh supported by 20W fast charger. Besides this, the Realme 6i measures 162.1×74.8×8.9mm and weighs 191 grams.
Storage –
There are two storage variants of the phone, the 4GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. There is also a dedicated slot for microSD card which expands the storage up to 256GB.
Variant Pricing –
The price of the two variants are Rs 12,999 for 4GB+64GB variant and Rs 14,999 for 6GB+64GB variant. These are available in two colours option namely Eclipse Black and Lunar White. The first sale of the Realme 6i will be held on July 31 at 12 noon via realme.com and Flipkart.
