5 days, 120 hours, 7 deaths. The unnamed and unknown propagators of terror, on their latest expedition, to terrorize the entire Kashmir Valley has been ruthlessly killing the ones who are made of the same bones and flesh as they are, probably, without a glint their eyes. Following the assassination of three civilians in Srinagar and Bandipore on Tuesday, of which one was a 68-year-old chemist and one happened to be a street vendor, on October 7th the convicted terrorist shot to death two more innocents in the Eidgah locality of Srinagar.
“The pistol-wielding men came into the school this morning and asked for the identity cards of the teachers and later fired at two teachers, one each from the minority Sikh and Hindu community.” – tells one of the school teachers who happens to be a standing witness of the attack. Principal Satinder Kaur and teacher Deepak Chand were on their duty in the Government Boys Higher Secondary School when the terrorists broke into the school premises. T
hey entered the office where the deceased principal was having a formal conversation with the teaching staff. as soon as they burst in, every person present there was ordered to reveal their identity, the Muslim individuals were categorically filtered out of the lot and they were only left with two people who didn’t practice Islam, the deceased teacher and the principal, of which the former was a Hindu from Jammu and latter a Sikh, both minority communities within the given region.
They were ordered to move outside the school building where they were shot to death in an open fire, at a point-blank distance. Fortunately, when the assassination took place, students were not physically attending the classes. According to the local journalists, the horrifying incident has been confirmed by IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar with the instant deployment of security forces in the region. It is said that just after 48 hours of the incident where three civilians were killed in the hands of this terror accused, came into being this another horrific case of murder. The region is now in the control of the Indian military.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief, officer Dilbagh Singh, the blame for these atrocities brought upon the Kashmiri civilians is to be put on ‘The Resistance Forum’, a terrorist organization operating through cross-border connections from Karachi in Pakistan. “We will soon expose this nexus from across (the border). The victims were not affiliated with any group. It’s a malicious propaganda by TRF that any of them was working with the RSS.” – Singh stated during an interview.
Political and administrative stalwarts namely the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, former Chief Ministers Omar Abdullah, and Mehbooba Mufti have publicly condemned these heinous attacks and have expressed their respected grief over the unfortunate departure of the deceased. “A befitting reply will be given to the perpetrators of the heinous terror attacks on innocent people.” – tweeted Mr Sinha.
These appalling figures display nothing but the directionless tears of the families who have lost everything within a fraction of a second, who cannot seek justification from anyone. Once crowned as ‘heaven on earth’, the Kashmir Valley today has turned out to be a hellhole for its civilians, for the ones who do not have even the slightest of association with politics, propaganda, and possession.
