“The eyes, chico. They never lie” –this quote from the ’80s movie Scarface is still accurate. Words can never capture the emotions that are conveyed through the eyes and captured in photographs.

Even though Om had met Sandy and fallen in love with her, he still had a corner in his heart reserved for Shanti– for the people we love, they never truly leave us, and we never stop loving them even after we make new bonds.

Om knew this was the last time he was going to see Shanti, but still, it was a blend of both encouraging and tragic looks.

2. Ved and Tara

The cinematography? The songs? The plot? The stories? The symbols? Tamasha is a true masterpiece– a once-in-a-lifetime kind of movie that will never be replaced.

The background and the setting of the film– and on top of that, its eye-pleasing scenes, not just one, but every scene in Tamasha can be described without the dialogues.

3. Omar and Maya

Still, listening to Tune Jo Na Kaha? As the heart-wrenching song plays in the background, we see Omar watching Maya in one of the scenes from New York.

After all, even if Omar’s love was unrequited, it was love nevertheless. He sees Maya after years, and she is still the same to him, even if Maya’s life has changed entirely.

We see a single drop of a tear falling from his eye, and it is enough to encapsulate all the wordless sentiments.

4. Aditi and Jai

If “Kahin Toh Hogi Woh” was not enough to imprison Aditi and Jai’s unconfessed love, the way they saw each other while dancing with their respective partners was enough to show how both of them were suffering.

It is as if the entire world, except the two of them, were able to see that their feelings were reciprocated from both sides–yes, they got the happy ending they deserved, but this scene from the movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is still heartbreaking.

5. Tara and Sid

Dil Chahta Hai portrays an unconventional yet beautiful love story between Tara and Sid. It was the kind of ship that we rooted for right till the end, only to have our hearts broken.

This scene from Dil Chahta Hai communicates their feelings through Sid’s canvas as they sit silently.

6. Meeta and Nikhil

We see Nikhil asking Meeta to stop looking at him on the bus, but Meeta can’t help it as she knows that she is slowly falling in love with her sister’s fiancé.

Nevertheless, she continues to watch him, and Nikhil smiles at her innocent stubbornness. How is it possible to not love Meeta?

7. Geet and Aditya

When Aditya finally reunites with Anshuman and Geet, Geet begins to realize her true feelings for Aditya. However, it is too late as she has already managed to get her family’s approval for Anshuman.

Aditya tries to disguise his love behind a smile, but it is visible that Geet regrets her late acknowledgment.

8. Arjun and Laila

Gazing at the stars lying down next to that special someone?  This is a peak romantic moment from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
