Bihar Assembly Elections are knocking at the door and the ruling Nitish Kumar led JDU is leaving no stone unturned for it to win trusts amongst its people. Now it is set to announce 4638 vacancies of Assistant Professor in 52 Subjects for Various universities in the States which were running with no able teachers or few of them. It is said to facilitate almost all Universities, Colleges and Departments in which education becomes an otherwise difficult task despite having good infrastructure and no teacher.
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections last year in February, the Government of Bihar state university commission with Dr Rajvardhan Azad, former Chief and Professor of Ophthalmologist, AIIMS, New Delhi as a chairman asked to carry the appointments faster.
“We wanted to advertise the vacancies earlier, but it got a bit delayed due to its late arrival in the prescribed format as per reservation roster applicable in Bihar. We received it on Sunday only from the education department and we are busy giving it a final shape.” Said Dr Azad in an interview with the Hindustan Times
The chairman has shown the urgency in an utmost sincerity this time promising the vacancies to be filled by December, at an earliest, unlike the delays that happened in the past. The application time would be given a 40 days period for the candidates to apply as per the convenience.
“Everything will be online – right from advertising the posts to applying. There are six members in the commission and so we will have six boards for conducting interviews in two shifts- 15 candidates in each shift. If the need is, I will also chip in. The objective is to complete the process and give Bihar University the teachers they need.” The Chairman further added.
