Selena Gomez has built the most valuable business of any actress: Rare Beauty was estimated at $2.7 billion in October 2025, and her own net worth is put at $700 million (Forbes) to $1.3 billion (Bloomberg). The Olsen twins’ label The Row is No. 2 at a $1 billion valuation (September 2024), and Juhi Chawla, through family stakes in the KKR cricket franchise, is No. 3 at about $870 million (Rs 7,790 crore).

Who is the richest actress in the world? Business ownership, not box office, is now the real answer. This list ranks the business empires built by the richest actresses in the world by the size of the company each woman built or co-owns, using the latest reported valuation or deal value. It does not rank personal net worth; for that, see our top 10 richest actresses in the world.

The past year brought exits and write-downs as well as growth. Rare Beauty’s estimated value rose to $2.7 billion, Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s haircare brand Anomaly was sold to Reliance Retail in April 2026, and Jessica Alba’s Honest Company shares have fallen sharply since the 2021 listing. Celebrity brands can build fortunes, but several entries here show how quickly they can shrink.

For scale, Rare Beauty’s estimated $2.7 billion is close to three times the $1 billion valuation of The Row at No. 2, and three times the $900 million deal that valued Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine. At the other end of the table, Kristen Bell’s Hello Bello sold for about $65 million in bankruptcy, which shows how wide the gap is between the most and least successful celebrity brands.

Which actresses have built the biggest businesses?

1. Selena Gomez (Rare Beauty): $2.7 billion brand estimate

Selena Gomez launched Rare Beauty in 2020 and owns at least 51% of it. Bloomberg reported in March 2024 that she was weighing a sale at a $2 billion valuation, and in September 2024 it named her a billionaire.

At Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in October 2025, the brand was estimated at $2.7 billion, and Gomez said she was not ready to sell. She still stars in Only Murders in the Building. Personal estimates range from $700 million (Forbes, June 2025) to $1.3 billion (Bloomberg, September 2024).

Business model: make-up brand, majority founder ownership.

2. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (The Row): $1 billion valuation

The former Full House child stars left acting and founded luxury fashion label The Row in 2006. The business, not their screen work, is now the source of their fortune.

In September 2024 the twins sold a minority stake to the family offices of Chanel owners Alain and Gerard Wertheimer and of L’Oreal’s Bettencourt Meyers family. Bloomberg reported that the deal valued The Row at $1 billion.

Business model: luxury fashion label, founder-controlled with minority investors.

3. Juhi Chawla (Knight Riders Sports): about $870 million family wealth

Juhi Chawla’s empire is sport and entertainment. With her husband Jay Mehta and Shah Rukh Khan, she co-owns Knight Riders Sports, which runs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket competition and teams in other T20 leagues, as well as Red Chillies-linked businesses.

No separate company valuation is published, so she ranks here on her family wealth. The Hurun India Rich List 2025 put it at about $870 million (Rs 7,790 crore), making her India’s richest female star. She does not appear on the Hurun India Rich List 2026, released on 24 September 2026.

Business model: cricket franchises and film production stakes.

4. Kate Hudson (Fabletics): $500 million personal estimate

Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson co-founded activewear brand Fabletics in 2013 with TechStyle and reportedly holds about 20%. The company explored an IPO in 2021 at a rumoured $5 billion valuation, but that figure was never confirmed.

Fabletics remains private, so her $500 million net worth (Celebrity Net Worth, March 2026) is an estimate built on an unverified company value. That is why she sits below brands with confirmed deal prices, despite the larger headline number.

Business model: private activewear brand.

5. Reese Witherspoon (Hello Sunshine): $900 million deal

Reese Witherspoon founded production company Hello Sunshine in 2016. In August 2021 she sold a majority to Blackstone-backed Candle Media at a $900 million valuation and kept about 18%, a pre-tax windfall of roughly $162 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Forbes, which put her net worth at $440 million in June 2025, notes that her remaining stake is now worth less, reflecting reported revenue declines at the company.

Business model: production company, minority stake retained.

6. Jessica Alba (The Honest Company): $412.8 million IPO

Jessica Alba co-founded The Honest Company in 2011. It reached a $1.7 billion private valuation in 2015 and listed on Nasdaq in May 2021, raising $412.8 million.

The story since then has been less kind. The shares fell sharply after the IPO, she stepped down as Chief Creative Officer in April 2024 while staying on the board, and her 2025 divorce settlement split about 5.7 million Honest shares 50/50. Celebrity Net Worth now puts her at $60 million.

Business model: Nasdaq-listed consumer brand.

7. Gwyneth Paltrow (Goop): $250 million valuation

Gwyneth Paltrow started Goop as an email newsletter in 2008 and grew it into a lifestyle company. In March 2018 it raised $50 million in a Series C round at a $250 million valuation.

She is believed to own about 30% of the company. Celebrity Net Worth put her personal net worth at $200 million in May 2026, which also reflects her earnings from the Iron Man and Avengers films.

Business model: lifestyle content and products.

8. Alia Bhatt (Ed-a-Mamma): $36 million to $42 million deal

Alia Bhatt launched kidswear brand Ed-a-Mamma in 2020. In September 2023, Reliance Retail took a 51% stake, Reuters reported, though the value was not officially disclosed.

Inc42 reported a deal valuation of about $36 million to $42 million (Rs 300 crore to Rs 350 crore at 2023 rates). Reliance Retail is now the majority owner, and it later bought Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s Anomaly as well.

Business model: kidswear brand, now majority owned by Reliance Retail.

9. Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Anomaly): sold to Reliance Retail

Priyanka Chopra Jonas launched haircare brand Anomaly with Maesa in 2021. The brand exited US retail at the end of 2025, and on 30 April 2026 Maesa sold Anomaly to Reliance Retail for an undisclosed amount.

She stays on as creative director. The deal is a new entry this year, and it makes Reliance Retail the buyer behind two brands founded by Bollywood actresses on this list.

Business model: haircare brand, now owned by Reliance Retail.

10. Kristen Bell (Hello Bello): about $65 million sale

Kristen Bell co-founded baby-care brand Hello Bello with her husband Dax Shepard in 2019, launching it at Walmart.

Hello Bello filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October 2023, and Hildred Capital agreed to buy it for about $65 million, according to Fortune. It stays on this list as a reminder that not every celebrity brand pays off.

Business model: baby-care products, sold in bankruptcy.

Actresses are ordered by the size of the business they built or co-own, based on the latest reported valuation or deal value from Bloomberg, Forbes, Fortune, Reuters, CNBC and Indian business press.
