Upon visiting the fake branch, the officials found that the infrastructure mirrored that of official branches of the bank. Police officials said that the prime accused, Kamal Babu had procured lockers, technological hardware, and other documents for the duplicate bank clearly stating the fact that he was well-versed in the bank’s administrative tactics.

The report tells that Kamal Babu would visit his now-deceased father at SBI during his younger days and from there remembered various aspects of a bank branch, he even applied for his father’s job but it got delayed.

Kamal Babu says his intention was never to cheat people and surprisingly no one from the city reported any complaint regarding loss of money. But since law demands legality, the accused are ought to be punished.
