Legendary photographer Ajay Salvi breathed his last yesterday, on the 3rd August.
An ace photographer Ajay Salvi was known for capturing a diverse range of brand campaigns across FMCG, telecom, beverages, and consumer durables.
In his career spanning a quarter of a decade, Salvi worked on brands on such as Dabur, Indian Express, DeBeers, Maharashtra Tourism, Saffola, Deutsche Software, FedEx, Future Copyright BPL, Reliance Info, and Tata Tea.
The seasoned photographer had been awarded many national and international awards like the HSMAI Platinum Award, New York Festival, Cannes, Asia Pacific Festival, and One Show.
His work was also recognized in the ‘Honourable Mentions of the International Photography Awards’, and his campaigns were featured in the Archive.
He worked on more than 700 ad campaigns including the spectacular Rajasthan Tourism campaign of 2015 and the SBI Debit Card “Ex Pickpocketer” campaign in the year 2006.
Photographer Atul Kasbekar tweeted an emotional tribute to the late photographer.
