Under the Hood
Fortuner TRD comes with only one Engine option-the upgraded 2.8-liter diesel engine churns out 177 horses mated with six-speed automatic transmission. Yes, you heard it right the Fortuner TRD comes with automatic transmission only, but you can choose between the two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive option for sure.

What makes it different from Standard Fortuner, including the price tags?
In context with the standard Fortuner, the looks are totally the same but some cosmetic changes could make you identify the TRD sport. Meanwhile, the TRD sports is way similar to TRD celebratory Edition launched back in 2019, but what makes it unique is its ‘special technology package’ loaded with a heads-up display, auto-folding ORVMs, a 360-degree camera, a dashcam, an air purifier, piddle lamp, a tyre pressure monitor and a most unique door-mounted wireless smartphone charger for rear-seat passengers. The party trick is, the features like the auto-folding mirror and the 360-degree camera would be offered in standard Fortuner also. Toyota Launched the TRD sports at Rs 34.98 lakhs for the 4×2 diesel-automatic and Rs 36.88 lakh for the 4×4 diesel-automatic which makes it 2.5 lakh costlier than the Standard Fortuner. This TRD sports is a limited edition and will be available for only 3 months due to its limited stock.
