FutureBrand Index 2023 releases the annual perception study of PwC’s Top 100 companies based on market capitalization, and the recent list has brought some interesting results, including how the world’s biggest companies are investing in AI.

For the data, FutureBrand collaborated with the Capital Markets division of PwC in the UK for this research and report.

Apple has topped the 2023 FutureBrand Index, beating big names like Google, Microsoft, and Samsung. Below are the names of world’s top 10 companies according to market cap.

  1. Apple
  2. Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL)
  3. NextEra Energy
  4. TSMC
  5. Samsung
  6. Microsoft
  7. Tesla
  8. Nvidia
  9. ASML
  10. Ping An

Also, Microsoft, Unilever, Amazon, Nestlé, and Tesla are among the most notable brands to jump up in this year’s Top 100.

The rise of companies like Microsoft and Nvidia shows how the world was quick to adapt to evolving technologies like AI and the growth of brands like Unilever and Nestlé indicates the demand for consumer-led companies.

In addition to this, the report revealed that Nvidia, CATL, Apple, TSMC, and ASML are the most preferred organizations for employees.
