BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra admitted to hospital, signs of coronavirus
Symptoms of coronavirus have been found in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Sambit Patra. After which he has been admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram on Thursday afternoon. According to the news agency PTI, Patra has been admitted to Medanta Hospital Gurugram. He is admitted to ICU-7 of the hospital. Where his condition is said to be normal.
However, no information has been formally given in this regard from the party so far.
Patra is the most talked about-face of the television news channel. He is seen putting his party’s side on the news channels. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, u had made Patra a candidate from a seat in Odisha but he lost. Last week Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha had tested positive for Covid-19 and had self-quarantined himself.
194 deaths in 24 hours
Corona cases are steadily increasing in the country. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the last 24 hours, there have been 6,566 new cases of coronavirus in the country and 194 deaths have occurred. The number of coronavirus cases in the country now stands at 1,58,333, of which 86,110 active cases and 67,692 people are healthy or discharged. There have been 4,531 deaths due to this virus so far.
