ChatGPT Creator OpenAI Fires Founder & CEO Sam Altman. Here’s All You Need To Know

A shocking news for the whole technology world, as CEO Sam Altman, the man best known for his work at OpenAI has been fired from the company. This announcement was made public through an official blog post by OpenAI.

“Mr. Altman’s departure follows a deliberative review process by the board, which concluded that he was not consistently candid in his communications with the board, hindering its ability to exercise its responsibilities. The board no longer has confidence in his ability to continue leading OpenAI”, a part of the blog post reads.

Sam has confirmed the same and has expressed gratitude for his time at OpenAI

Following this, Greg Brockman, the president and co-founder of OpenAI has also resigned from the company, he chose the platform ‘X'(previously Twitter) to announce this.

Mira Murati, who is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at OpenAI, will replace Sam and serve as interim CEO. Before OpenAI, Murati has worked for Tesla and she joined OpenAI in 2018.
