Deliveries of single-seater Jawa commenced: Jawa Perak review

Way back in 2018 Jawa announced three of its bike to be launch and will be sold in India – the Jawa classic, Forty-Two, and the Perak. While two of there bikes are already on roads since 2019, Now the deliveries of there 3rd bike has been started. Meanwhile, deliveries were set to begin in April, due to COVID-19 pandemic Jawa shifted the deliveries in July.

Introduction: Jawa Perak is totally different bikes in context with her sibling. Perak is totally bobber-styled motorcycle comes with round typical Jawa headlamp, an under-seat round tail lamp which looks quite unique but while keeping the legacy of Jawa, this bike looks a class apart. The round handlebar, black aesthetics, single floating seat, twin exhaust pipes with the Jawa logo stamped on the tank are a few of its hot points.

Specification: Jawa Perak currently serves the highest performance in its Jawa DNA. It is BS6-compliant 334 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine produces 30 horses and 31 Nm of torque mated with a 6-speed gearbox. According to classic legends, ‘meticulous’ fine-tuning of the motor and addition of the new cross port technology has resulted in the maximum torque increasing to 32.74 Nm but the power remains the same.

In front, you will get telescopic hydraulic forks, 18-inch tyre, and a single 280 mm disc, while the rear has 7- step adjustable mono-shock, 17-inch tyre. It also gets a better braking setup than Jawa classic and forty-two like 280 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. Price and Booking Criteria
Jawa Perak comes at a price point of 1.94 lakhs (ex-showroom) and the bike can be booked for a refundable amount of 10,000. There is also some easy finance scheme which also makes it more flexible to buy. These include offers like 50 per cent discount on first EMIs, 100 per cent funding, etc.
