Mohammad Shadab, a resident of Aligarh, and a motor mechanic’s son with his devotion to overcome all the obstacles in his way did something very inspiring. He topped at his high school in the US. After receiving, Kennedy-Lugar youth exchange scholarship worth Rs20 lakh from the US government, last year, he went to the US to pursue higher education.

He is also a recipient of the title “Student of The Month” at his school amongst 800 students competitors.

He aims to improve the living conditions of his family and make his parents proud. His father has been working as a motor mechanic for almost two and a half decades now. “The condition at home was not good and it is still not that good. I want to support my parents and make them feel proud,” Mohammad said.

He showed his gratitude towards the Indian government for giving him a chance to prove himself in another country. He stated, “I am thankful to the Indian government for making me the flag-bearer in another county and choosing me for this scholarship.”

On being asked by his father who is the proudest now, Arshad Noor expressed his happiness and desire for his son to work for the nation. He said in an interview, “We had sent him to the US for his education and I am happy that he topped at the school.”

“I want my son to become an IAS officer and serve the country,” he added.

However, Mohammad wants to work at the United Nations as a human rights officer.

Mohammad is just another example of what hard work, consistency, and complete determination can bring to all of us. What your life conditions are, doesn’t matter. If you have a strong vision to achieve something nobody can stop if you’re accordingly working towards your goals with utmost honesty.
