Megan Thee Stallion is thanking Jordan Chiles for being a “Hot Girl” after the gymnast secured a trip to the Olympics in Paris this summer.
Chiles, who won silver with Team USA at the Tokyo games in 2021, finished third behind Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee as she clinched a spot on the women’s gymnastics squad during the Olympics trials last weekend.
The gymnast, after making the roster, delivered emotional remarks on her family before closing with a special shoutout to the rapper.
“And Megan, I’m going to the Ahh-Olympics,” said Chiles, who imitated Meg’s “ahh” catchphrase.
Megan later showed love to Chiles over the mention, quoting a clip of the shoutout with the caption “my girllll💙💙💙💙” on X, formerly Twitter.
Chiles, on Wednesday, revealed that the rapper sent her a bouquet of flowers along with a note that read, “Congratulations On Qualifying For The AHH-lympics! Very Excited To Watch You Shine In Paris And Represents For All The Hot Girls! Megan.”
The gymnast couldn’t get enough of the gift, writing, ”@theestallion I’m literally crying 😭😭 friend thank you so much these flowers are so beautiful!!!”
Chiles is a fan of Megan’s music and has the rapper on her playlist. She even uses her as inspiration following a “rough” practice at the trials.
“Megan, Beyonce, GloRilla, every girl artist you can think of was popping up. I was like, ‘You know what? If these girls can slay like this, I can go out there and slay like them,’” Chiles said.
The two recently met up as the rapper showed her appreciation for the gymnast.
“You is her … Imma be out there, for real. I wanna support you,” Megan told Chiles of the Paris games.
Megan isn’t the only artist to show Chiles love, as Normani admitted she was a “superfan” and encouraged her to continue to “exude Black girl magic” in 2021.
