The Burj Al-Arab, one of the most well-known destinations in the world, is at the top of the list of the most expensive hotels in the world. The Burj, which is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was billed as the world’s first seven-star hotel, and it goes without saying that it lives up to the hype. It is the world’s seventh-tallest hotel and was created by architect Tom Wright to resemble a ship’s sail. The hotel is located on a man-made artificial island with just a private curved bridge connecting it to the mainland.

The Burj Al-Arab boasts its own personal helipad near the roof, roughly 210 meters above sea level, in addition to all the luxurious bells and whistles you’d expect to see inside a seven-star hotel, such as an underwater restaurant reachable via submarine. A single night in the royal suite will set you back at least $28,000. The two-story 780 square-meter suite is decked in 22-karat gold and features a private dining room, butler, spa, private lounge, and a large staff to attend to your every need.

The Plaza, New York, costs $40,000 per night!  So, what do you get as a result of that? To begin, you must utilize the building’s private elevator, which is exclusively available to you. The 400-square-foot suite then welcomes you with a beautifully created living area, complete with the newest top-of-the-line comforts and indulgences. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a lounge, a separate dining area with seating for up to 12 people, and a fitness room in the suite. The view of Fifth Avenue from the bedroom is breathtaking. So, if you don’t feel like lying in bed all day, you may take advantage of the suite’s 24-hour butler service.

Only the mega-rich have entry to the Hilltop Villa, which is nestled away in paradise. The hotel is located on Fiji’s Laucala Island and costs $45,000 per night. But in exchange, you’ll get a four-acre villa divided into three different villas, each with breathtaking views of the island. The first villa, “The Delana,” has a master suite with a walk-in closet, a library, a living area, and your own enormous private pool with waterfall and hot tub, as well as a solid wood soaking tub. The second villa, “The Dua,” has similar features but only sleeps two people comfortably.

All of the rooms are separated by sliding doors. Finally, “The Rua,” the second-largest villa, includes a separate living room and a spacious private pool. If you’re searching for a place to stay with friends or family, The Hilltop Villa is a great option because it sleeps up to eight people and includes all of the amenities you’d expect from a hotel.

4. The Muraka Suite – The Conrad – $50,000

The Muraka is ranked number seven on our ranking of the world’s most expensive hotels. The suite is touted as the world’s first underwater hotel suite and is located in The Conrad in the Maldives. The Muraka is a two-story structure with a bottom floor around 16 feet below the surface of the Indian Ocean. You may expect to be promoted to Hilton Diamond Status upon arrival for $50,000 per night, with a private chef, bar, gym, butler, and infinity pool. However, don’t get too excited since a four-night minimum stay is required.

5. Hotel Martinez-Penthouse $53,000

The Hôtel Martinez is in Cannes, France, one of the most well-known resorts on the Côte d’Azur. For $53,000, you’ll get a 1000-square-foot room on the hotel’s top-level, complete with spectacular panoramic views of the ocean from your own wood-paneled panorama terrace. Each of the four bedrooms has a king-sized bed, as well as a separate living and dining area, marble baths, a Turkish bath, and a private jacuzzi on the terrace. If you enjoy art, you’ll appreciate the fact that the suite’s walls are adorned with works by Picasso and Matisse.

6. Ty Warner Penthouse $60,000

The Ty Warner Penthouse at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York starts off the top five list. The luxurious hotel suite is named after the building’s owner, Ty Warner, and costs roughly $60,000 per night. The $400 square-meter apartment, which is located on the building’s very highest level, the 52nd, cost almost $50 million to finish. The suite has four glass balconies with views of uptown, midtown, and downtown New York, as well as a 360-degree panoramic view of the city.

This suite just has one bedroom, but it also has a spa, a rock crystal master bathroom, a panoramic infinity tub, a personal elevator, a specialized guest services manager, and a chauffeured Rolls Royce. If that isn’t enough, you may also take advantage of the complimentary limitless massages.

The Grand Penthouse of the Mark Hotels is the biggest hotel suite penthouse in the United States, at 10,000 square feet. A huge penthouse that spans the top two levels of the hotel is available for $75,000 per night.

There are five bedrooms, six bathrooms, four fireplaces, two wet bars, two powder rooms, and a wide-open living area. The living area can also be turned into a full-size ballroom with 26-foot ceilings, which is a great party trick. One of the penthouse suite’s best attractions is its 250-square-meter terrace with magnificent views of Central Park.

8. The Royal Penthouse – Hotel President Wilson – $80,000

This is the hotel for you if you’re in Geneva, Switzerland, and have $80,000 to spend on a night. The Hotel President Wilson’s Royal Penthouse takes up the full 8th story of the hotel. It features a jacuzzi bath with a view of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, as well as 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and a stunning view of the lake. Damian Hurst’s entire renovation and revamp of the original Sky Villa suite resulted in the Empathy Suite. Two master suites, massage tables, a cantilevered jacuzzi with views of the Las Vegas strip, a salt relaxation room, and a personalized tour of the property’s artwork and facilities are all included in the $100,000 price tag.  This hotel room caters to art collectors, with six Damian Hurst originals and unique furnishings featuring his themes.

The Lover’s Deep Luxury Submarine Hotel is the world’s most expensive hotel, costing $150,000 a night. It’s not the same sort of experience as some of the other hotels on the list, because it needs you to travel underwater in a submarine. However, if you want to mix a night away with an adventure, this could be the place for you. The submarine/hotel is based in St Lucia and may travel around the Caribbean to meet the needs of its customers. You’ll stay in a 5-star submarine with your own captain, private chef, and butler, as well as a speed boat, transports to and from the submarine, and some extra add-ons like helicopter transfers, beach landings, and champagne-soaked breakfasts. The Lover’s Deep Submarine is outfitted with the utmost in luxury and all you’d expect from such an adventure.

Furthermore, you have the opportunity to tailor the cruise to your personal interests, so if you prefer one place over another, the captain will comply with your wishes. Staying at the world’s most costly hotel would be a once-in-a-lifetime event that you’d never forget!

We hope you enjoyed our list of the world’s 10 most expensive hotels. What do you think? An undersea hotel with a nightly rate of $150,000. I’m sure you didn’t see it coming. Without a doubt, I didn’t. So there you have it: the world’s most costly hotels range from classic brick and mortar structures in some of the world’s most prominent cities to underwater havens that sail around the Caribbean at your command.
