Every year the second Sunday of May is celebrated as International Mother’s Day. Every individual tries their best to make their mother feel special. Though our mothers don’t deserve one day to be treated special, we must not hold back ourselves from doing something extra on this particular day.
I believe we should celebrate the hardcore sacrifices and tasks mothers perform for their children, every day. We should take care of her and pamper her daily in whatever ways we can. And our Indian cinema has been playing a crucial role in introducing different types of Mother’s and the roles they play in our lives. We have been introduced with several portrayals, from Nargis of “Mother India” to the Sridevi in “Mom” we have been shown various avatars of a mother. Not only this, Bollywood has composed so many beautiful, melodious, and heart touching songs on mothers, which whenever played could make anyone cry or just laugh with the life we have in our hearts for her because of THEIR ACTIONS AND LOVE.
