Suresh Chavhanke, editor-in-chief of Sudarshan News, who declared India to be a Hindu Rashtra, once again stormed social media with his bigotry and community-oriented opinions. From spreading misinformation and hate speeches to targeting a specific community on their educational upliftment, he again becomes the apple of the eye of the netizens.
The wrath spiked when he showed discontent on the appearing and passing of Muslim students in high ranking exams like UPSC in his twitter handle, stating, it is dubious how Muslims, appearing and passing the UPSC exams, suddenly increasing, he went on to term the trend “naukarshahi jihad”, while talking about the alleged ‘infiltration’ of Muslims in the civil services, he says that a program will be broadcasted on this big revelation on Friday.
It clearly shows that he is not satisfied with only 3% of the share of Muslims in our bureaucracy according to the Sachar committee report.

What exactly right-wing media outfits expect out of Indian Muslims? Where, in one hand, they label Muslims as “clan of illiterate-puncture-makers” who are just a parasite to Indian Tax Payer’s money. On the other hand, they express displeasure seeing them clearing high-ranking exams and serving the nation.
Is it fair to call those students, who qualified the exam with perseverance, consistency and dedication, infiltrators? Is it fine to neglect their abilities and demean their hard work by giving them such names?
Also, here a question arises, whether he wanted bureaucracy to be filled with non-Muslims only? Is this the concept ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas’?
Who is answerable to such questions?

“आतंकवादी कौम”, such a derogatory comment to a community truly on a false basis. The only reason for the deepening of hatred within the boundaries.
In recent March, he again showed his hate, questioned the ways coronavirus clusters were colour coded. He tweeted and gave his small-minded suggestion to colour the most affected zones with green and not red and that the Corona virus-free zones as orange, making colour a tool of violence.
According to an old News laundry report, surfaced after Chavhanke’s latest video also shows that once he created a fake account posing as an imam, so that he could argue with himself on twitter, and that his channel also deliberately portray Muslims as extremists. The report also shows, that his channel was supported by Uttar Pradesh government and hence is supported financially by taxpayers.
For his inflammatory activities, he was arrested in April, 2017 for inciting communal hatred between the two communities, by airing programmes through his channel, promoting communal disharmony and hostility.
But now the rage is at the peak. People are asking for his account to be suspended and reported his tweet, with #SuspendSureshChavhanke trending on microblogging site.
RTI Activist Saket Gokhale has filed a police complaint against Chavhanke for his biased report and also started a campaign urging people to register a police complaint against Chavanke.
In the process of filing a criminal case against @SureshChavhanke for this extremely communal content which seeks to target & spread hate against 1 community.

On an overall account, there’s urgent need to do something for these sick-minded people, they not only are showing their discontent and hate but also provoking others to follow their right path, which is a big irony in itself.
It is hurtful to see that people are denying the fundamental law of the land ‘our constitution’. Have they rescinded the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi?
Once Mahatma Gandhi said,
“Before the throne of the Almighty, man will be judged not by his acts but by his intentions. For God alone reads our hearts.”
A need to think over it.
