And Netflix is back with a huge roster set for March. Netflix India recently posted a power-packed teaser that took over various social media feeds, featuring glimpses of the diverse line-up of all its upcoming releases for March. A number of highly anticipated shows under Hindi titles will be released on the OTT platform and thus fans have gotten quite excited about it
So what all is on Netflix’s March menu? Check out the curated list of the most anticipated releases to look out for this month.
1. Mismatched
Mismatched is a coming-of-age rom-com based on author Sandhya Menon’s bestselling book ‘When Dimple Met Rishi’. The show which focuses on the ‘mismatched’, but binge-worthy and adorable love story of Rishi (Rohit Saraf) and Dimple (Prajakta Koli) highlights the traditional practices of arranged marriage in India.
2. Bombay Begums
In honor of International Women’s Day, Bombay Begums started streaming on Netflix on March 8. Directed by a path-breaking black comedy, ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ fame director Alankrita Shrivastava, it stars Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, and Plabita Borthakur in prime roles, revolving around the stories of five modern-day ambitious women in Mumbai.
3. Delhi Crime
After getting huge international recognition by bagging the International Emmy award for Best Drama Series, ‘Delhi Crime’ directed by Richie Mehta has been renewed for yet another season, as predicted. Season 2 will dive deep into an unexpected revelation that Inspector Bhupender Singh (Rajesh Tailang) chances upon while unearthing more truths about the inhumane rape case that occurred in 2012.
4. Masaba Masaba
Masaba Masaba has been refreshed for a second installment and fans are thrilled over the news. Just like season one, the upcoming episodes of this comedy-drama series starring designer Masaba Gupta and her mother promise to be full of empowering and hilarious moments and, of course, some great feature of fashion.
5. Aranyak
Aranyak marks Raveena Tandon’s comeback on digital platform. An intriguing story based in Himachal where Tandon plays the role of a cop Kasturi Dogra, who struggles to juggle her personal and professional life, like many women.
