Charismatic, versatile are the analogues for him. With strong will and dedication, he has proved himself over the years! Yes, we are talking about none other than Mr Aparshakti Khurana!

Let’s find out what he has to say!

Rishika: You have covered various genres of works in the show biz, from being a radio jockey to playing Omkar’s character in Dangal. So, what’s your journey from an RJ to an actor?

Aparshakti Khurana: The journey has been really exciting. God keeps surprising me with new things from time to time on the personal and professional front. Rather looking forward to surprises coming ahead.

Aparshakti Khurana: Omkar in Dangal Anchor in General !!

RM: Your Instagram bio says ‘Omkar in Dangal. Anchor in general’. So, did you always want to face the camera or wanted your voice to do the magic? Like for you which was more challenging, to be an anchor or an actor?

AK: Both are equally challenging. The good part about anchoring is that you don’t have to pretend to be someone else and the good part about acting is that you don’t have to worry about the Camera. It follows you.

RM: Okay, so my third question is kind of obvious, how it felt to work with ‘Mr Perfectionist’? Especially your first-day shoot experience with him!

AK: His world is very different from the rest. It’s really organic and simple. The best part about him is that he is a very good listener. The entire process of filmmaking at AKP was an experience.

RM: Tell me something about your upcoming movie is ‘Stree’ and your character which you are playing in that movie?

AK: Stree is one of the quirkiest films I have ever come across. Plus, it’s a zone which a lot of people haven’t attempted. It will define horror comedy as a genre.

RM: Will we see the two brothers coming any soon on screen?

AK: Hahaha very soooon. There are a couple of scripts about brothers being narrated to us. But nothing that has excited both of us yet.

RM: There are many millennial those who want to be like you, they get inspired by you, especially the extraordinary narration. The way you keep a show absolutely interesting in every possible way. So any suggestion or advice you would like to give to them so that later in life they can apply it in this field?

AK: Just keep it simple, be patient, don’t over-think, don’t over-do.
