Actor Purab Kohli, who is in London has shared a throwback picture of shooting days with his family thanking his fans for sending well wishes and has assured ” We are very well and fully recovered now”. Kohli and his family were in self-imposed quarantine which ended on April 1.
The Rock On!! star and former VJ took to Instagram on Tuesday, wrote a lengthy post revealing that he and his wife Lucy with two children had contracted novel corona virus while in London. His daughter Inaya was the first person to get infected with the virus. She had a mild cough and cold for two days, after which his wife, Lucy Payton, had some issues in her chest. Then he, himself got a solid cold which was horrid, then it vanished and this irritating cough set in for 3 days. Their flu-like symptoms had been diagnosed with COVID-19 and they were taking all the precautionary measures suggested by their family doctor.
On Friday he wrote, “Thank you all you lovely people for your warm wishes. we really left a strong bolt of love come our way. Rest assured we are very well and fully recovered now. Please remember It is important to stay indoors now. Yes it’s hard! But firstly we need to put the brakes on this pandemic, and then we have to conserve energy and rest our bodies and build strength. God forbid if you do catch the virus, your body which is the real weapon against this virus, will need loads of energy to fight it.”
He further expressed his gratitude for front line workers and health workers who are working around the clock and risking their own health in public service.
The actor began his career with a television show ‘Hip Hip Hurray’ on Zee TV, later appeared in popular sitcom ‘Shararat’ and marked success with movies like Airlift’ and ‘Rock On’. His performance has been lauded in Hotstar Original series” Out Of Love” .
