After the renowned Indian journalists, Arnab Goswami and Sudhir Chaudhary, it is the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who has become the next flagrant personality to be painted on the ‘Walk of Shame’ in Malad, Mumbai.
Kangana Ranaut is often seen as a bold, unconventional woman who made her way to the top Bollywood actresses. She is a recipient of several awards including three National Film Awards and was also honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in January 2020.
Keeping her records aside she is often onto media’s radar for making controversial statements. One such ongoing controversy is the most speculated, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Wherein she has made foul remarks for people in Bollywood fraternity and the verbal altercations don’t seem to end any soon.
Recently in an interview with Pinkvilla Vikas Singh, the lawyer representing Sushant Singh Rajput’s father in his case against Rhea Chakraborty, said, “She’s trying to further her own agenda and attack people she has a personal issue with to settle her own scores. She seems to be on her own trip. The family’s FIR has nothing to do with her claims at all.”
Her rhetorical attacks on the people of Bollywood fraternity who had nothing to do with Sushant Singh Rajput’s case has somehow validated her double standards for the Film industry. This could also be the reason for her being the next public personality most voted to be painted on the Walk of Shame.
Walk of Shame is a voting based project began by Mumbai-based artist, Tyler through his Instagram handle on 10 August for naming and shaming public personalities. The names are selected through online voting and to make a name reach the voting list, the comments section is monitored. The repetitive names in the comments then make their way to the voting list.
Under the Walk of Shame project, the names of most flagrant personalities are brought into the spotlight who have been instrumental in spreading propaganda that causes widespread vandalism, violence and absurdity in the society.
Let’s see who makes next to the Walk of Shame. For further updates visit our website or Tyler Street Art on Instagram.
