Many Korean dramas have left an everlasting effect on people’s hearts and ‘Crash landing on you‘ definitely makes it to the list of such dramas. It does not just make our hearts swell with emotions but it also makes us learn so many things.
Let’s catch up to the good old memories by revisiting some of its scenes-
1. Crash Landing on you
Se-Ri lands into a tree after the tornado, and while Jeong-Hyeok finds her, she crash lands on him (literally), a super cute intro isn’t it?
2. A fake kiss to mislead officials on the boat
Se-Ri tries to get back to the south through an exchange by boat, but officials stop the boat, cover Jeong-Hyeok kisses her… that too twice! Obviously a fake one but definitely super cute.
3. Jeong-Hyeok ties Se-Ri’s hair
This was way before they were officially in love with each other. But this scene will have all its watchers have a thousand butterflies in their stomachs.
4. Se-Ri gifts Jeong-Hyeok a tomato plant as a parting gift
In exchange for a few potatoes, Se-Ri buys a parting gift for Jeong-Hyeok (by the way the potatoes were his) but it’s very cute, isn’t it?
5. Jeong-Hyeok finds a lost Se-Ri in the market by lightning a scented candle
Se-Ri can’t find her way back and she gets lost while she is out with fellow villagers. Now guess what Jeong-Hyeok does?
He lights a scented candle and holds it high up so that she can find him. A heart-fluttering moment.
6. A train ride to the capital
To help Se-Ri get back to her country Jeong-Hyeok takes her to the capital to get her passport done, and while on the way the train stops due to a power outage and they spend the night out under a blanket of stars, how heart fluttering isn’t it?
7. Se-Ri and Jeong-Hyeok watch the first snow together
There is a saying in Korea, which translates to “when you watch the first snow with a person you love, then that love lasts a lifetime”, Se-Ri and Jeong-Hyeok watch the first snow while drinking and eating chicken.
Indeed a date we all loved to watch.
8. Jeong-Hyeok follows Se-Ri to the airport
Jeong-Hyeok arranges for Se-Ri to leave North Korea as an athlete, but he doesn’t leave with her to the airport, he instead follows her behind the car Se-Ri travels in.
He even takes a bullet for her in this scene. Just heart-melting to see how protective he is.
9. A step to give his final goodbye kiss
While Se-Ri crosses the border back into South Korean territory Jeong-Hyeok takes a step into South Korean territory to give what he believes a final goodbye kiss to his lady love.
10. Jeong-Hyeok makes his way to the south!
A worried Jeong-Hyeok crawls his way (24 hours of crawling) just to protect Se-Ri from a villain in the series and with him follow his comrades.
11. Two weeks in Switzerland every year
This one is a bonus for you all, while both of our leads get back to their respective countries, they take time off every year for 2 weeks to spend time with each other, what all we do for love.
It even teaches us all a lesson that when we try nothing is impossible.
