The National Testing Agency (NTA) which was likely to publish the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET 2020 result today, has been postponed. A special exam is scheduled to be held on October 14. This exam will be held for the students who were unable to sit for NEET because of being COVID positive or were in containment zones.

Solicitor General, Tushar Mehta informed SC that students who were unable to sit for NEET because of being COVID positive or in containment zones would get the opportunity to appear on October 14. The results will be declared on October 16. SC consolidates this in its order in a PIL.

Therefore NEET result 2020 will be releasing on October 16, 2020, after the special exam has been conducted for the candidates who couldn’t appear.
NTA will announce the result and the final key on October 16. Along with the release of Neet result, the agency would also release the NEET 2020 rank list for all India quota.
