Actor Amitabh Bachchan has been tested positive for coronavirus and is admitted to Nanavati Hospital Mumbai. This 77 years old actor took to Twitter confirming of his health and said, “I have been tested COVID positive, shifted to Hospital… hospital informing authorities.. family and staff have undergone tests, results awaited. All that have been in close proximity to me in that 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”
Bachchan was immediately taken to the hospital according to the sources after complaining of breathlessness from the past couple of days. The actor has been staying at home ever since the lockdown was imposed and recently shot a promotional video for the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati and other projects from home. It is assured that he had been in contact with the production team that came to his house in Mumbai.

As soon as his tweet came at 10:52 pm, the internet was flooded with wishings and prayers for his speedy recovery. The legendary actor was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s comedy-drama Gulabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurana. His upcoming movies are Hera Pheri 3, Brahmastra and Chehre. Kaun Banega Crorepati season 12 is also to be hosted by him.
Later, his son Abhishek Bachchan also tested positive for Coronavirus.
