All the rumors that we shut today about the director’s death, unfortunately, became true just now, as the confirmed death news arrived.

Drishyam Director

Nishikant Kamat is reported to have breathed his last sometimes an hour ago. He was undergoing medical treatment in Hyderabad since 31st July. The medical reports claim that he was critically suffering from liver cirrhosis.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh confirmed the news of his death via Twitter and gave his condolences. “I will miss you, my friend. #NishikantKamat. Rest in Piece”, wrote he with a heavy heart.
