Darjeeling is a town situated in the state of West Bengal. Tiger Hill, the highest point among the Darjeeling hills at an altitude of 8482 feet. It is popular for offering a spectacular view of sunrise. The sight of snow-capped mountains standing among the clouds is breath-taking. You can also have the glimpse of the world’s highest peak Mount Everest from here.

2. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway

The historical toy train of India, The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway runs between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling. It serves an amazing and fun-filled experience to its passengers. On the ride of this toy train, one can witness the beautiful views of the Eastern Himalayan region, laden with picturesque tea estates. It takes the people around the hills of Darjeeling. Its joyful ride is the best way to explore the town.
The train also stops at Ghum which is the highest railway station of the country situated at the height of more than 7,000 feet above the sea level.

3. Batasia Loop

Batasia Loop is a spiral railway in Darjeeling. The track spirals around over itself through a tunnel and a hilltop. It is the best place to get a 360-degree view of Darjeeling’s landscape, the snow-covered peaks of the Eastern Himalayas and also the magnificent Kanchenjunga on one side. A war memorial is also built there in the honour of Gorkha soldiers of Darjeeling.

4. Nightingale Park

Nightingale Park is a public park area where people mostly go to cherish the fabulous view of Kanchenjunga ranges. It is located in the beautiful hill station of Darjeeling. It is a perfect place for you to relax your mind and allow it to be free from all worries amidst delightful greeneries and soothing winds.
Along with the musical fountain, a giant statue of Lord Shiva is built there.

5. Darjeeling Ropeway

The cable cars travel from the North Point in Singamari to the Sigla Bazaar, carrying passengers at an altitude of 7000 feet.
