Kangana received a 24 hours notice on 8 Sept 2020 regarding “illegal alternation and construction” within the premises of her recently renovated bungalow at Pali Hill in Bandra from Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The notice states that if the actress fails to reply within 24 hours than BMC will demolish the unauthorised portion of the bungalow said the assistant municipal commissioner (H-west Ward) Vinayak Vispute to TOI.
Earlier the bungalow was used as Kindergarten before the actress purchased it. She even informed the resident’s association that after renovation she would use the bungalow as office-cum-home. After getting the notice from BMC the actor posted on her twitter handle “….if you break it my spirit will only get stronger…GO ON.”
Before the arrival of the actress, CRPF security was deployed at the building where she lives. According to the residents of the locality, the notice was designated as a “political motive.”
Recently, Kangana Ranaut was in news for getting Y-plus security from the Centre after her tweet comparing Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir which riled the political dispensation in the state, her comments were against Mumbai police the way they handled the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
