One of the most distinguished roles of the actor was as the handsome, outwardly chivalrous antagonist Mukesh Mehra in the film “Om Shanti Om.” Directed by Farah Khan the movie swirled around the concept of reincarnation. The romantic drama movie features Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, and Shreyas Talpade. The film received wide appreciation and was the highest-grossing film of 2007, the year it was released. Arjun’s role in the film earned enormous praise and 13 years later, it still persists to be one of the masterpieces of Bollywood.

2. Rajneeti

Starring multiple celebrities, the film was directed by Prakash Jha. The star crew has substantial names such as Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Nana Patekar, Naseeruddin ShahManoj Bajpayee, Katrina Kaif, and Sarah Thompson. The film revolved around politics, mostly focused on a particular family and the consequences politics had on them. Arjun Rampal starred as Prithviraj C. Pratap who was the leader of a political party. His performance in the film garnered him a few awards.

3. Rock On!!

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor and featuring Arjun Rampal, Farhan Akhtar, Luke Kenny, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai among others, the film is focused on a group of friends reunited to cherish again the glory they amassed while in a rock band. The movie is a musical drama and a must-watch. Arjun Rampal was portrayed as the guitarist Joseph Mascarenhas. The character won him the National Film Award for supporting actor.

4. Dil ka Rishta

Starring Arjun Rampal, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Isha Koppikar, Raakhee, Paresh Rawal and Priyanshu Chatterjee, the musical-drama film was directed by Naresh Malhotra. Arjun exhibited the role of Jai Mehta, a rich, helpful guy who tries to blend his and Tia’s life after the occurrence of an accident. The film has chartbuster melodies such as Dayya Dayya Dayya Re, Dil Ka Rishta, and Saajan Saajan.

5. Ra one

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Ra-One may not have one of the top-most acclaimed plotlines, but the role of Arjun Rampal as tha antagonist or “Ra-one” pronounced “Ravan” does deserve appreciation.
With Shahrukh Khan playing as Good one or G-one in the film, Rampal has done his job quite wonderfully as the villain. He makes the bald look beautiful and intimidating at the same time.“ Tum log Raavan ko har saal is liye maarte ho kyunki tum jaante ho ki Raavan kabhi nahin marta,”- this clever line still remains classy years after.
