UP police’s Gunda raj and shameful techniques are now well known across the nation. The death of “Hathras rape victim” has already sparked outrage throughout the country.
The victim died on Tuesday, in Delhi. She was gang-raped, she was tortured. In Hathras, UP, the incident needs no explanation and justice seems a distant dream to the victim’s family.

UP police, shameless as they have proved themselves, forcibly took her daughter to cremation without allowing a last look.
At Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital, the family reported that they had no knowledge that the dead body was to be taken for cremation.
The woman’s body was taken to her village in Hathras which is around 200 kilometres away from Delhi only after midnight.
The woman’s father begged the police to allow him to take his daughter’s body home in order to perform her last rites the next day.
“We wanted the last rights to be performed according to the Hindu traditions despite our protests the cremation was performed that took the body forcibly we couldn’t see our daughters face for the last time,” the father told NDTV.
The Hathras police claim that the cremation was carried out with the family’s consent, which has been reported as a false statement.
“The UP police which is under scrutiny over alleged lapses throughout the case has been accused of rushing the cremation in a desperate cover up attempt.”-NDTV
