as per ThePrint FactChecker, the images being circulated are fake. The font on the logo of the viral images is different from the one on Jio’s website.
According to the Reliance Industries’ website, Jio is only a digital venture focused on “creating a massive digital ecosystem for a billion Indians with domain expertise across business verticals in the platform company”.
Reliance Retail is the umbrella retail initiative of the group. In the food and groceries sector, it operates Reliance Fresh, Reliance Smart and Reliance Market stores. Jio is strictly in the Reliance Digital category and operates through Reliance Digital Express Mini stores and Jio stores. Jio does not produce food and grocery products, says the website.
