Beautiful Instrumental/Humming Sequences From A.R.Rahman’s Songs

He recorded over 40 solo albums and sang in a slew of Bollywood films, inspiring a generation of music fans. His songs from films like Arth and Saath Saath are timeless classics.

Jagjit Ji has contributed to a wide range of musical genres, from Punjabi blockbusters to tappe, ghazals, and bhajans. Here are a few of his gems:

1. Pyaar Mujhse Jo Kiya Tumne

Some people manage to blame themselves for everything, their minds become chaotic, and anguish consumes them. As a result, people put up a barrier between themselves and their loved ones in order to protect them.

They don’t realize that love comes with all of a person’s flaws; this is one such song from their point of view, demonstrating Jagjit Singh Ji’s range.

2. Hothon Se Chu Lo Tum

“Hothon se chu lo tum, Mera geet amar kar do,” Jagjit Ji’s message to us is literally. But he was thinking about something else: the enduring impact of love.

Love, they say, is a soul connection that lasts beyond a single lifetime, that love is forever. Isn’t that what you desire from a relationship? Knowing you’ll meet again in the future is immortality.

3. Chithi Na Koi Sandesh

When someone goes without saying goodbye, you are left with a tremendous sense of loss. After that, there’s always a gap in your heart.

You don’t appear to be able to explain what happened and instead makeup excuses. You know you have to move on even if the pain is excruciating.

4. Woh Kagaz ki Kashti

If you aren’t happy in life, no amount of money or popularity will make you happy, and what better time to be joyful than your childhood? That is the simplest and most enjoyable period in everyone’s life.

People seem to forget to enjoy themselves as they grow older, which is perhaps why we want “Mujhko Lauta do Bachpan ka samaan.”

5. Tum Itna Muskura Rahe ho

It illustrates a pattern of behavior that can be seen over generations. This ghazal is about the necessity to smile while covering all of one’s sorrows.

People prefer to appear cheerful despite secretly crying, all because fate has certain things in store for us, but Jagjit Singh deftly weaves the hope of beating fate and emerging truly happy.

6. Tumko Dekha To Yeh Khayal Aaya

In love, it feels like “Zindagi Dhoop Tum Ghana Saaya.” If everything else proves to be too difficult, you’ll have that one person who makes it all worthwhile.

Someone who would give you a cause to live despite the chaos and difficulties. Even if you have lost faith in love, if you find the right person, your heart will begin to hope again.

7. Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar

This song can be understood as a normal question that every genuine lover asks his beloved, but it also contains the restlessness of love, which is profoundly hidden in it.

Every lover on both sides has yearned to know how their beloved feel about them, to have hope. In addition, the music perfectly complements the excellent text.

8. Hoshwalon Ko Khabar Kya

Jagjit Ji continues to wow us with each song; he argues that people who have never been in love have never experienced true intoxication.

Everything seems brighter as if it’s a dream when you’re in love. You’re aware of your stillness, but you still feel alive.

9. Koi Fariyaad

When you genuinely care about someone, you want to be there for them in both happy and sad times. You want to get rid of anything that is upsetting them, even if it is suppressed in their minds.

Tum jaante ho unko sahare ki zarurat nahi hai, tum sirf bas saath dena chahte ho.
