Mahesh Jethmalani, a senior advocate at the Supreme Court and a member of the BJP has successfully shifted the attention of the public from ‘blaming BJP for the India- China border issue’ to now on the close connection between the Indian National Congress party and the Communist Party of China.
Jethmalani referred to the MoU signed between the Sonia Gandhi- led Congress party and the CPC on 7th August 2008. He urged the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to probe the “possible sinister implications for the country’s security” arising from the event.
With #SoniaChinaDeal going around the block in a maneuver similar to that of the campaigning chants, people are simply asking to look into the details of the undisclosed deal.
Since its inception, the lockdown has been constantly struck down by Congress. Both parties have been after each other’s tails in the hopes of gaining more points in the eyes of the public. Two issues that can alter the country’s fate are looming in front of us and people are agitated.
What’s going to happen between India and China? More importantly, how is India coping with the pandemic?
And BJP has been the one to face the heat.
But slowly the party is changing the narrative and shifting the blame on to the Congress.
