Never Watched Anime? Start With These And Become An Otaku

This is a song about how difficult it is to accept love. It has a strong line and really blends with music. A song that makes you realise that sometimes love has to go through ups and downs and painful societal rules in order to be accepted. Really considered lyrics and powerful music.

3. Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le

There can’t be many songs that match the calibre of this one, especially the lyrics. Tere har ik gam ko, gale se lagaya hai, Humne Bhi. Hai Na! This song expresses Gulzar’s attitude toward life, and it certainly tells us that life has a lot to offer us, and it all depends on how we look at it!

4. Surili Ankhiyon Waale

A lovely song with lovely music and delightful lyrics. These lyrics simply express how you can have an entire conversation with your love without even saying a single word. This image depicts a sense of attachment without being with your person. Really heartfelt song, and the lyrics feel like poems you keep in your notebook for years but never send out. A lovely piece of music.

5. Bol na Halke Halke

A song about how soft and sweet love is. The lyrics, combined with the music, make this a great song to play and slow dance to. It’s a seven-minute song that leaves us wanting more because the lyrics are so good. Lyrics did an excellent job of demonstrating how we gradually want to know how much we are loved and how we are willing to go to any length for that person.

6. Ay Hairathe

This is such a soothing song, the lyrics of Gulzar Saha combined with the timeless music of A.R Rahman make this song beautiful, and by beautiful, we mean as soothing and pretty as the moon. It’s amazing how well it tells the story of slow love. A song that defines beauty, with lyrics that will have you lost in your memories.

7. Aane wala pal

“Ek baar waqt se, lamha gira kahin, Wahan daastan mili, lamha kahin nahin.Thoda sa hasake, thoda sa rulake, Pal yeh bhi janewala hain”.

What an idea. The imagination of a “moment” falling out of time, similar to a pearl falling from a necklace (remember the video of Kuch Na Kaho from 1942- A Love story). Such lines can only be thought up by a genius! Hats off to Gulzar sahab.

8. Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi

“Aaj agar bhar aayi hain, boonden baras jayengi, Kal kyan pata inke liye aankhen taras jayengi, Jaane kahan gum kahan khoya, Ek aansoon chupake rakha tha, tujhse”.

We sometimes feel that Gulzar’s lyrics are too heavy for the common man, and that only those with a philosophical approach to life can digest them. This song, in particular, is one that must be experienced in order to fully comprehend what Gulzar is saying; this song is unquestionably for the mature!

9. Dil Toh Bacha Hai Ji

These are lyrics from the song Dil Toh Bacha Hai Ji. The song is heard when two characters in the film fall in love. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performed the song. Vishal Bhardwaj composed the song, and Gulzar wrote the lyrics. These lines mean, “The complicated sight does not pass her by; cutting silk threads with teeth is not possible.” This is a thing of the past. “However, youth is still alive.” The song expresses how timeless and ageless love is.
