Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is now under the CBI. the supreme court has declared today and asked the Mumbai police to hand over all the documents, evidence to the Central Bureau of Investigation. The court clearly mentioned that the case registered by Sushant’s father is Patna is correct, “senior advocate Vikas Singh told media persons.” The court also added that the Bihar government had all the right to refer the Patna FIR lodged by Sushant’s father to CBI.
The Supreme court confirmed that there was no confusion about CBI being the sole authority to probe the mystery behind Sushant’s suicidal death and also mentioned that no other state police could interfere with it. The court further referred that since the Mumbai police had registered only the death report for Sushant’s death, it had limited investigation powers. Whereas Bihar police registered a full-fledged FIR which already mentions to CBI. Thus, the central agency should probe the case.
As per the statement, given by the lawyer Satish Mane Shinde of actor Rhea Chakroborty, “Rhea will appear and face the investigation by the CBI as she has done earlier with the Mumbai Police. She maintains that the truth will remain the same whichever agency investigates the case.
