Anime is incredibly popular, but the choice from literally hundreds of different shows to choose from might overwhelm those who are just getting started.
Anime has become a new medium of entertainment and it has become incredibly popular with Netflix and other streaming sites helping to lead the surge in popularity in the World.
A good way to start with anime should be relatively short, Here, I picked out some of the very best most popular, and short anime for beginners!
1. Attack on titan
This is the biggest hype right now in anime. The is a fabulous written and animated series. The Series is set in a world where all humanity is dead and the only living humanity living is protected by walls, which is also separated into three parts. But by who they are protecting themselves, they are protecting themselves from “TITANS”. The man-eating mindless monsters.
This series is filled with awesome battle scenes, some gruesome and horrific but totally entertaining. And am going to use it too occasionally must watch.

Why he is infamous because he has earned $$60 BILLION bounties on his head after accidentally destroying a city with his superpowers. And because of this, he has earned nicknames such as “The Humanoid Typhoon” and $$60,000,000,000 (sixty billion double dollars) man.

The most probable chance if you have heard about anime, you would have heard about “THE ONE-PUNCH MAN”. This is the story of Saitama, he is a hero that does it just for fun & can defeat his enemies with a single punch. This hero just wants opponents to fight. This series has humor and it is a must-watch.
8. Death note
If you like Money Heist, Breaking Bad, or Prison Break, then you are going to definitely love this series. The story begins with a 17-year-old brilliant student “Light” in japan getting a book of Shinigami (God of Death), a book called “Death Note”. As the name kinda also give it away, the person whose name will be written in a death note will die in 40 seconds of heart attack, if you don’t choose the death time yourself.
Light literally can play “GOD”, but even so he wants to become one but only just by killing or as he says eliminating evil from this earth and serve “JUSTICE”, soon he gets the name “Kira” (a killer). But an Investigator “L” whose identity is not disclosed in the world also begins his journey to find and save the earth from Kira. This is a great story of a cat and mouse fight. I would recommend for the new beginners to start their journey from here. Brace yourself to have your morals questioned.
9. Cowboy bebop
This is a classic piece of art, the anime was released in 1998. If you like Guardian of the Galaxy, Star Wars, or any space movie, this series is for you. It is filled with action, romance, and cute moments. If you are a couple and both are interested in watching an anime I would suggest this.
11. Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
It is also one of the most iconic and influential anime of the past 2 decades. The series follows two brothers, Edward and Alphonse as they try to heal the damage inflicted on them both during an ill-fated ritual.
The series has some of the most intense action, compelling characters, and heartbreaking episodes in anime history, making it a perfect contender for someone’s ‘first anime’.

It is one of the few anime that don’t have the original manga. In 2016, it was made as an anime at the beginning and aired with 12 episodes. Yuri on Ice is also one of the few examples of LGBT+ love stories in anime. I am not going to share that you have to find out for yourself.
But I will talk about another aspect.
This is a sports-themed anime that focuses on figure skating. So the special characteristic of this anime is that not only it has attracted anime fans but also people who like figure skating competitions. It also attracted praise from professional figure skaters, with some skaters in the 2018 Winter Olympics performing to music from the show.
The story follows the main character Yuri Katsuki who is a 23 years old figure skater and his rival Yuri Plisetsky who is a 15 years old promising Russian skater. They both aim to win the Figure Skating Grand Prix.
The anime movie adaption titled Yuri!!! on Ice the Movie: Ice Adolescence (ユーリ!!! on ICE 劇場版:ICE ADOLESCENCE) is expected to release late 2021.
13. Erased
Erased is one of the most underrated anime of the 21st century. The 12 episode series is a dark and intense story that follows a 27-year-old man called Satoru Fujinuma, who possesses the ability to ‘rewind’ to avoid a tragedy. However, after a murder in his presence brings back forgotten memories of his childhood, Satoru rewinds to his childhood past.
The series is heartwarming as well as intense, with Satoru having to use his knowledge of the future in order to solve the murder in the future and catch the killer.
14. Parasyte
Based on a classic manga series from the 90s, Parasyte tells the story of a young man named Shinichi who wakes up to find that his right hand has been eaten and replaced with an alien parasite.
The alien, eventually called Migi, is part of an invading force that has been taking over various humans. Migi, however, was unable to take over Shinichi’s brain and eventually forms a close bond with his host.
15. Samurai Champloo
The anime focuses on three characters—the wayward Mugen, the ronin Jin, and the clumsy but charming Fuu. When fate brings them together, they set out on an epic journey to find a samurai who smells like sunflowers. It is a good piece of art directed by Shinichiro Watanabe.
It consists of only 1 season and 12 episodes at the time of writing. This show has a flavor of all genres. Instead, it uses a mix of historical references, shounen tropes, and hip-hop aesthetics to create a multicultural experience for viewers.
