Prof Shahid Ali Siddiqui, principal of JNMC said, “An ethical committee comprising doctors, social workers and lawyers has already been constituted to take care of the trials.”

The clinical trials will be in different phases, the earlier trials will look for the production of antibodies against the virus, while the late-phase will evaluate whether the vaccine further prevents people from getting sick.
These trials will affirm that the vaccine works and is safe. The volunteers who will appear for the trails at JNMC will be provided with detailed information of the vaccine.
