The statement denied any truth in the allegations against him terming the complaint as an “outright lie.”
The statement says that all allegations levelled against Anurag Kashyap are false and baseless. At the time, when the said incident took place, according to the actress, Anurag Kashyap was not in India for a month. He was in Sri Lanka for the shooting of his film. The actor has submitted all the necessary documents for the same to the police officials investigating the case.

Mr Kashyap has categorically denied that any such alleged incident never took place and has also denied all allegations levelled against him,” read the statement.
“Mr Kashyap is apprehensive now that the falsity of her allegations in the FIR has been established, she will alter her version of events in the investigative process as well,” it added.
