1) Fawad wanted to be an aeronautical engineer.
As a teenager, his wish was to be an aeronautical engineer. He is also a graduate in computer engineering.

Fawad Khan and his wife Sadaf Khan knew each other since childhood. They began dating when she was 16 and he 17. Just 10 days after their relation, he proposed her for marriage. At first, she rejected the proposal saying that she was just 16.

Before becoming an actor, Fawad was a model. The actor initiated modelling at the bare age of 13 and has appeared with the pakistani actress Mahira Khan at the Indian Bridal Fashion week.
8) He was not always an amazing actor.
After desperately pursuing a role in the film The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mira Nair and eventually losing the role. He himself accepted that he was not always a good actor.
In an interview, Fawad said, “From there on, I felt ki gayi film bhaad mein. I am gonna take my revenge and polish my craft. I was not a good actor. I understood my weaknesses. I know why I lost out on that project. I polished my craft in television. Who knew television would bring me where I am?”
