In April 2021, Apple released the AirTag, a device for tracking down misplaced objects. The poker chip-shaped device links to Apple’s network so it can be easily tracked by an Apple device. Many people have wondered if AirTags could be utilized for more sinister reasons. AirTags were being used as a stalking tool in the news as early as May, less than a month after its inception.
