The geopolitical landscape is shifting rapidly across the world and NRI Affairs captures this transition in South Asia and India. For the people who are looking for authentic information regarding the politics, culture, economy, basically the whereabouts and happenings of the countries where their loved ones reside. The NRI Affairs is dedicated to fulfilling the audience’s quest for accurate information-driven news articles. The platform also aims to be an interactive space to understand the cultural nuances and appreciate the literature and art of South Asia.

Apart from disseminating news, it has all the information from across the world regarding migrating overseas, education abroad and jobs. This makes it a one-stop centre to address the concerns of those already living abroad and those residing within India planning to move abroad.

NRI Affairs did a  mammoth task of providing critical information for both citizens living in India and those living abroad during the initial period of the attack on Ukraine by Russia. NRI Affairs successfully provided current updates on the situation, helplines, and measures for Indians trapped in the war zone.

NRI Affairs proved its editorial excellence by becoming the first publication to break the news of Vishal Jood pleading guilty to his alleged role in a series of assaults against Sikhs in Sydney’s west. The platform has also reported on the Australia-India Institute imbroglio in Melbourne, emphasising a consistent focus on coverage of issues related to social justice.

In March 2022, NRI Affairs became Australia’s most viewed Indian diaspora-focused news site. It continues to grow as the platform marked a milestone with page views reaching a stellar figure of  223,000.

The Vision/Objective

The objective of the platform is to provide information, current updates, and entertainment for NRIs and citizens residing in India. Through the platform, an attempt has been made to provide comprehensive, reliable, and engaging information about India and its various facets.

The NRI affairs in their latest article thanked their readers for helping them achieve their big milestone and for their continued support.
