2. Dudhsagar Falls, Goa 

Located on the borders of Goa and Karnataka, Dudhsagar waterfalls fall from a height of roughly 1020 feet making it the sixth-highest waterfall in the country.

The word Dudhsgar comes from the Konkani language meaning an ‘Ocean of Milk’. As the name suggests it gives you an illusion of milk falling from a goblet.

3. Dhuandhar Falls, Madhya Pradesh

Dhuandhar Falls is a scenic waterfall on the holy Narmada River in the Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Dhuandhar Falls is also known as ‘Smoke Cascade’ because the waters of Dhuandhar falls create a lot of mist while falling down.

5. Chitrakoot Falls, Chhattisgarh 

Located in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, Chitrakoot falls is a spectacular natural beauty. It falls from a height of 95 feet and is almost as wide as 985 feet, which makes it the widest waterfall in India.

It is also called the ‘Niagra Falls of India’ due to the same reason. It falls in Odisha and then enters Andhra Pradesh and finally merges with the Godavari River.
